In this blog I will share priceless nuggets that I have gleaned over the course of my faith walk.

When I used to read this scripture my reaction to it was, Really God! You have got to be kidding me. How can I thank you for the really bad things that happened to me? I don’t see anything good in this nor does it feel good. Then I would pout, have a tantrum, and go on a crying jag and ohhhh so much more.

That was how I used to respond. I have since learned and accepted that God is sovereign (which means that God, as the ruler of the Universe, has the right to do whatever he wants. Further, he is in complete control over everything).

I haven't always liked God's decisions but I have since learned not to fight the POWER! I have tried being angry with God, but realized that the only person that suffered was me. It didn't change me or the situation/ circumstances.

I have also learned that in every situation, good or bad to give thanks and look for the good especially in bad situations or circumstances. I now agree with God!
